Rather disappointed by the reviews: expectation vs. reality. I checked in at midnight, and was shown my dorm. First impressions: hygiene is ok, security is v. concerning. There are no lockers in the dorm, leaving personal valuables viable to theft. I was given a bed sheet and no duvet (no mention of extra bedding from reception) - I probably slept 3hrs due to the extreme cold temp. in the room. Heating also faulty. (My roommate can vouch for this). I cut my stay short and requested a refund.
Love that they have a washer that can be used by guests free and they had detergent available for purchase at reasonable price. They also have multiple terrace where we can dry our clothes. Many toilets and showers per floor. I liked it enough to return a 2nd time at the end of trip. Negative is that there is no ac in the bedroom except in the reception. It was hard to sleep in the hot summer night. Cigarette smoke from the hang out "gossip" balcony came into our bedroom a lot and I am sensitive
We stayed there for three nights in a 6 bed dorm. When we booked the room it was said that only three of the six beds are occupied due to Covid. When we came there, five of them were occupied, so didnu2019t feel very comfortable.
The kitchen is well equipped but not very clean. In the bathroom toilet paper was missing and it was also not very clean.
The location is good, itu2019s only a short walk to the main attractions and there are also restaurants and cafes close by.
I stayed in a female dorm. I had first booked mixed dorm there but the room was SO small and smelly that I had to do new booking. I have never been to this lame hostel, although I believe other hostels won't have female dorms, which makes this one the best.
The staff is unhelpful, men staff come to the female dorm room without knocking. None of the staff members ever greeted. I stayed more here because the female dorm was nice with just 3 beds. The location is really good!

When we arrived I was given a bed which had clearly been slept with in by someone else and had not been cleaned. The staff just told me u201clooks clean enoughu201d, though after I asked them to change it they did, and they were nice about it. No lockers, even though these are advertised. Receptionists generally very helpful.

I liked the staff and the overall atmosphere. If I come again I ll book the same hostel for sure. I forgot my ring there though but I believe it is gone. I am aware we are the ones responsible for our belongings so no one to blame. In case you find it - I forgot it on the countertop in the toilet (room22) I d be happy to know. All the best,Elena
